"Rohan, I'm starting to doubt Ajeet's clan is the only problem we're facing," Leela said, her voice barely above a whisper. They crouched behind a stack of crates, their eyes fixed on a group of Ajeet's men attempting to sneak into the eastern districts. Rohan, a member of Leela's clan, shifted uncomfortably. "I'm sure they're not the only problem, Leela. But we can't let our guard down now. We have a plan in place." "A plan that keeps getting compromised," Ravi muttered, his eyes scanning the rooftops. "I swear, every time we think we've got the upper hand, something new comes up." Leela shot Ravi a warning glance. "We can't afford to get frustrated, Ravi. We need to stay focused." Rohan stepped forward, his eyes locked on Ravi. "You're starting to sound like Kavita. Always doubting our decisions." Ravi's gaze snapped to Rohan, a hint of defensiveness creeping into his voice. "I'm just saying, we need to be careful. We can't trust Ajeet's clan, and we can't trust everything Guru Aditya tells us." Leela placed a hand on Rohan's arm, her eyes darting between Ravi and Rohan. "Let's not fight about this, guys. We need to stick together if we're going to get through this." But the tension between them was palpable. Rohan's expression had grown closed off, and Ravi's eyes seemed to bore into his very soul. As they watched, Ajeet's men slipped into the eastern districts, their numbers dwindling. Leela stood, her eyes locked on Ravi. "We need to move. We don't know how long they'll stay hidden." Ravi nodded, his eyes never leaving Rohan's face. "Let's go. But I'm not going anywhere with you two if we can't trust each other." The air was thick with unspoken words, the weight of their fragile alliance hanging precariously in the balance. As they set off, Leela fell back, her eyes locked on Ravi's back. "Rohan, I think we need to have a talk." Rohan followed her gaze, his expression unreadable. "About what, Leela?" "About what's going on with Ravi. And about what's really going on with Ajeet's clan." Rohan's eyes seemed to cloud over, and for a moment, Leela thought she saw a flicker of fear in his eyes. But when he spoke, his voice was smooth as silk. "I don't know what you're talking about, Leela. Maybe we're just getting a little too caught up in our own paranoia." Leela's eyes narrowed. She didn't believe him. Not for a moment.
