Leela guided Ravi through the labyrinthine alleys of Ayodhya, the scent of incense and spices wafting through the air as they navigated the crowded streets. They had been walking for hours, their conversation flowing effortlessly as they delved deeper into the heart of the city. Leela's insight into the intricate politics of the city's clans proved invaluable, and Ravi found himself drawn to her sharp wit and strategic mind.
As they turned a corner, the majestic facade of the Ayodhya Ghat came into view. The temple's intricate carvings seemed to dance in the fading light, the sound of the Ganges River's gentle lapping against the shore a soothing melody. Ravi felt a sense of calm wash over him as they approached the temple grounds, the air thick with the weight of history and tradition.
Guru Aditya's words echoed in his mind โ balance cultivation with duties โ and Ravi couldn't help but feel a sense of restlessness. His memories of his past life continued to stir, a nagging sense of unease that refused to be silenced. He pushed the thoughts aside, focusing on the present as Leela led him towards the temple's eastern wing.
"Ajeet's clan has been spotted in the eastern districts," Leela said, her voice low and urgent. "Rumors suggest they're seeking to expand their influence, but I suspect there's more to it. Ajeet's not one to take risks without a clear reason."
Ravi's eyes narrowed as they entered the temple grounds, the sound of chanting and prayers filling the air. "What kind of reason?" he asked, his mind racing with possibilities.
Leela's expression turned enigmatic. "I've heard whispers of a rare prana technique, one that could give Ajeet's clan a significant advantage. But I need more information before I can confirm it."
As they navigated the temple's corridors, Ravi spotted a figure lurking in the shadows โ a young, hooded individual who seemed to be watching them with an air of curiosity. Leela followed his gaze, her eyes narrowing.
"Who is that?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Ravi shook his head, his attention still fixed on the mysterious figure. "I don't know, but I think we're about to find out."
The figure stepped forward, revealing a young woman with piercing green eyes and a mischievous grin. "I'm Kavitha," she said, her voice dripping with confidence. "And I think I can help you two understand what's really going on."
Leela's expression turned cautious, but Ravi sensed an opportunity. "What do you know, Kavitha?" he asked, his eyes locked on hers.
Kavitha's grin widened. "Let's just say I have knowledge of a certain...prana technique. One that could change the balance of power in Ayodhya. But it's not something I can discuss here. Meet me at the old windmill on the outskirts of the city tonight, and I'll tell you everything I know."
Ravi's mind reeled with possibilities as Kavitha vanished into the shadows, leaving him and Leela staring at each other in confusion.
"What just happened?" Leela asked, her voice laced with frustration.
Ravi's eyes locked on hers. "I think we're about to find out."
