3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
AudioTaleFM and the services described below use cookies or similar browser storage. Some are needed for website sessions, sign-in, request security, or basic features. Analytics and advertising technologies help measure visits, remember identifiers, deliver or measure ads, limit repeated ads, and, depending on provider and user settings, personalize advertising.
- Google Analytics: The website loads Google Analytics 4 using a Google tag. Its standard website tag uses first-party cookies such as
_gaand_ga_*to distinguish browsers and sessions and produce usage reports. Google may process pseudonymous usage, browser, and device information. See Google's explanation of Analytics cookies. - Google advertising: The website loads Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, personalize where enabled, measure, and limit ads. The technologies and identifiers used can vary with browser behavior, account settings, and ad choices. See How AdSense uses cookies and Google advertising technologies.
- Adsterra advertising: The website loads Adsterra advertising scripts, including banner and Social Bar placements. Adsterra and parties involved in delivering an ad may receive browser or request information and may use cookies or similar technologies for advertising and measurement. See Adsterra's Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.
- Embedded media: Some pages may embed third-party media, such as YouTube videos. When you load or interact with an embedded player, the provider may receive information about your browser and interaction under its own privacy policy.
Third-party cookies and processing are controlled by their respective providers. Their names, availability, and lifetimes may change. We do not control the cookies set by those providers.
4. Sharing and Third-Party Services
We share information with service providers when needed to run the website, process analytics, deliver ads, host content, or respond to legal requests. Google and Adsterra may collect information directly from your browser when their tags or ad content load. Embedded media providers may also receive information when their players are used. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
We do not use this statement to promise that advertising or analytics partners never receive information. Their use of information is governed by their own policies and your available settings.
5. Your Choices
- You can use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Some sign-in, security, or saved-progress features may not work as expected if necessary cookies or storage are blocked.
- You can review or change Google ad personalization choices at Google My Ad Center and learn about Google's ad controls in its advertising privacy information.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics in supported browsers using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- For Adsterra's cookie information and options, see its Cookies Policy.
These provider controls do not necessarily disable all analytics or advertising on AudioTaleFM. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular technology, that consent must be handled through the relevant consent controls; this Privacy Policy is a notice and is not itself a consent mechanism.
6. Data Retention and Security
We keep account, message, contribution, and activity information for as long as needed to provide the relevant features, maintain site records, address disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods can differ by information type. We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
